Wild-Caught White Fish with Fresh Herb Drizzle (Candida-Safe & Low-Tox)

Wild-Caught White Fish with Fresh Herb Drizzle (Candida-Safe & Low-Tox)

No foil. No fermentation. No sugar-drenched citrus pretending to be gut-friendly.

This is fish done properly, wild-caught, cooked clean in glass or ceramic, and finished with a mineral-rich herb drizzle that supports digestion, detox, and flavour without inviting candida to the table.

Because when you're healing, every bite, and every material you cook with, matters.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15–20 minutes
Total Time: 25–30 minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 fillets wild-caught white fish (snapper, barramundi, flathead, or cod)

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • Season with Celtic sea salt [shop here] rich in trace minerals and BioHax-approved.

  • 1 tablespoon chopped, organic, fresh parsley

  • 1 tablespoon chopped, organic, coriander or dill (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon organic, dried, thyme or a few fresh sprigs

  • 1 small clove organic garlic, finely minced (cooked only, not raw)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (fan-forced or conventional).
Use a clean glass or ceramic baking dish, avoid aluminium, foil, or non-stick trays.

  2. Place fish fillets in the dish. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, garlic, and thyme. No wrapping needed, glass and ceramic naturally hold moisture without leaching toxins.

  3. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a stainless steel fork. Cooking time may vary slightly by thickness.

  4. While the fish bakes, prepare the herb drizzle:
Mix fresh parsley, coriander (if using), and a dash of olive oil. Stir well.

  5. Remove fish from oven and plate hot. Spoon herb drizzle over just before serving.

Why It’s Candida-Safe:

  • No sugar, no citrus, no coconut cream

  • Wild-caught protein = clean fuel that doesn’t ferment

  • Cooked garlic only, avoids gut blowback

  • Celtic sea salt delivers minerals that support adrenal and liver function

  • No foil or metal leaching, cooked in glass or ceramic, served with stainless steel only

Clean Cooking Tips:

  • Always bake fish in glass or ceramic trays, they’re non-reactive and won’t contaminate your food

  • Avoid aluminium foil and plastic wraps, especially when baking

  • Use stainless steel utensils only, not plastic or aluminium, which can leach or react when hot

  • Store leftovers in glass, not plastic

Disclaimer: This recipe is for general information and educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please consult a qualified health practitioner before making dietary changes, especially if managing chronic conditions such as candida overgrowth.

When candida dies, it doesn’t go quietly. It can release toxins like acetaldehyde, ethanol, ammonia, and gliotoxin, putting stress on your liver, brain, and immune system. Headaches, fatigue, brain fog, and mood swings are common signs of die-off (a.k.a. Herxheimer reaction). It's not a bad thing, just your body clearing house. Rest, hydrate, and speak to a practitioner if symptoms persist.
