The Big Bounce Australia

The Big Bounce Australia: World’s Biggest Jumping Castle Tour

If your idea of wellness includes sweating, screaming laughing and accidentally doing plyometrics, The Big Bounce Australia is your new favourite cardio class. It is a full touring inflatable theme park built around the Guinness certified world’s biggest jumping castle, a 300 metre obstacle course, space themed playgrounds and a sports arena that turns adults and children into overexcited human popcorn. One ticket, three hours, four giant attractions, zero chance of staying calm.

What You Get With Your Ticket

Every ticket is an Access All Areas pass for three hours of movement and mayhem. That includes:

  • A dedicated timed slot on The World’s Biggest Jumping Castle so numbers stay comfortable and everyone has space to launch themselves around.

  • Unlimited access during your three hour window to The Giant 300 metre obstacle course with more than fifty challenges and a monster final slide.

  • Unlimited time in the space themed airSPACE zone, with ball pits, slides, alien characters and moon crater ball pits that basically double as nervous system regulation pods.

  • Unlimited access to Sport Slam and City Xscape, custom sports and city themed arenas loaded with hoops, nets, goals and inflatable challenges for every level of coordination.

Spectators can enter the event grounds for free and chill in shaded zones, but anyone who wants to bounce needs their own ticket. Advance tickets are cheaper than buying on the day and sessions do sell out.

Prices vary by age and session, but expect tickets from around $35 to $59 per person, with toddlers at the lower end and adult only sessions at the top.

Family Friendly Sessions

This is not a one size fits all free for all. Sessions are split by age so little kids are not body checked by teenagers and parents can actually relax.

  • Toddler sessions
Designed for babies and children aged three and under with entertainment to match. At least one paying parent or carer with their own ticket must accompany children on the inflatables. Very young infants worn in a carrier do not need a ticket.

  • Junior sessions
For children aged seven and under. Parents and carers are welcome to buy a ticket and bounce with them, or stay on the sidelines and spectate for free.

  • Bigger kids sessions
For anyone aged fifteen and under, ideal for primary and high school kids who can handle the full course. Parents and carers can still join with their own ticket, but adults without kids are asked to pick an adult session instead.

Across all kids sessions, socks must be worn on the inflatables and every person who bounces, including parents and carers, needs their own ticket. Children aged three and under must always be accompanied by a paying adult.

Adults Only Sessions

The grown up sessions are strictly for ages sixteen and over. No kids, no prams, no pretending you are supervising anyone. Just three hours of ridiculous movement, obstacle sprints, slides, ball pits and the kind of joyful chaos your inner child genuinely needs.

Everyone in an adult only session must be sixteen plus, socks are mandatory and the only rule is that you behave like an overgrown child while still listening to staff.

VIP Upgrade And On Site Experience

For people who want to do wellness but make it VIP, there is an optional upgrade at checkout that includes:

  • Fast lane VIP check in

  • Exclusive shaded VIP seating area to recover between laps

  • Priority access lanes for the World’s Biggest Jumping Castle and airSPACE slide

  • A VIP discount card with savings on face painting, merchandise, food vendors and two for one sno cones

On site you will find food trucks, drinks, shaded inflatable domes, chill out areas and plenty of seating. An MC keeps energy high with music and games so the whole thing feels more like a festival than a kids birthday party.

Wellness, Movement And Safety

This may be a big plastic playground but it doubles as a full body workout. Expect:

  • Cardio from sprinting through obstacle courses

  • Strength and stability from climbing, balancing and landing

  • Lymphatic and circulation support from all that bouncing

  • Serious laughter and stress relief from doing something that is completely unserious

Safety is layered in underneath the fun. Highlights:

  • Age based sessions and recommended age brackets to keep things comfortable

  • Clear height and weight limits; the attractions are designed for most people up to around 245 pounds with height caps that keep slides and structures safe

  • Dedicated staff across the site monitoring behaviour and helping children if they get lost or separated

  • A clear lost child and lost parent protocol with a meet up point and staff support

  • Strict sock rules on all inflatables plus gripper socks available on site

Pregnant guests are allowed to participate but are asked to use their own judgement and remember that inflatable surfaces can be unpredictable.

What To Wear And What To Bring

Think functional festival rather than fashion week. You will want:

  • Light activewear instead of heavy denim so you can actually move

  • Knee length or full length pants to protect from friction and sun

  • Socks for the inflatables, plus a spare pair for the drive home

  • Slides or sandals for walking between attractions

  • A hat or visor, sunscreen and a refillable water bottle

Inflatables may be damp in early sessions due to dew or light rain, so a change of clothes for kids is smart. Lockers are available on a first come basis for a small fee and there is also a self managed sneaker storage tent for shoes during your session.

Weather, Refunds And Reschedules

This is an outdoor summer event, which means sunshine, heat and sometimes storms. The team monitors conditions closely and may postpone or adjust sessions if there are thunderstorms, heavy rain or high winds that would make bouncing unsafe.

If sessions need to be cancelled or moved, ticket holders are contacted by email and text with options. The general rule is that all sales are final except where the weather and date change policy applies, so check your calendar before locking in your slot. If you need to shift to another session and there is space, you can contact the ticket team with your booking number and new preferred time.

Food, Facilities And Extras

Every site comes with its own mix of food and drink vendors. You can usually bring your own snacks and drinks, although some venues may restrict outside food, which will be flagged in the event guide email sent the day before your session.

There are shaded inflatable domes and seating areas, plus lots of free space for picnic rugs or fold up chairs. Cameras and phones are allowed on the inflatables at your own risk, but hang on to them because they have a habit of launching out of pockets mid jump.

The team has strict cleaning routines between sessions, daily deep cleans and regular specialist treatments on the inflatables, with extra attention on high touch points. Pets are not allowed and any lost property is handed in during the event and then to local police once the tour leaves town.

Tickets, Ages And Fine Print

  • Age range is technically zero to one hundred, but each session has clear age guidelines.

  • Children three and under must be accompanied into the inflatables by a paying parent or carer.

  • Parents can attend the grounds for free as spectators, but need a ticket if they want to bounce.

  • Tickets can be printed or scanned from your phone at check in, where they are exchanged for wristbands.

  • Tickets are non transferable without contacting the team to update names and contact details for safety and event announcements.

Why It Belongs On A Wellness Hit List

Big Bounce is not just a school holiday activity, it is a full family nervous system reset. Kids burn energy and confidence on inflatables instead of screens, parents get to play instead of just spectate, and adult only sessions give grown ups a reason to swap cocktails for endorphins. Think of it as high intensity play therapy disguised as the world’s biggest jumping castle.
