Sydney Royal Easter Show 2026

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2026

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2026 is the kind of day out that turns a long weekend into a proper memory.

Twelve hours of entertainment on a single ticket. Seventy illuminated animal lanterns after sundown. A noodle market built by MasterChef judges, a human cannonball launched 35 metres through the air, and baby animals that will absolutely ruin you for the rest of the week. All of it unfolding across Sydney Showground at Olympic Park, every day from 2 to 13 April.

The Show has been doing this for over 200 years. It has not run out of ideas.

The BioHax Take

The Easter Show is one of those rare events that genuinely delivers for everyone in the group. Not in a lowest-common-denominator way. In a "somehow the kids are obsessed with cattle judging and your partner hasn't put their phone down since the lantern parade started" kind of way.

What makes it worth covering from a wellness and conscious lifestyle lens is the thread that runs through all of it: provenance. The Show exists to connect city audiences with the producers, farmers and artisans who feed and clothe Australia. The President's Medal finalists, the Fine Food competitions, the paddock to plate experiences, the honey sommelier judging open classes... none of that is window dressing. It is the actual point.

New for 2026, the Show After Dark transforms the entire Showground into a glowing nighttime spectacular from late afternoon. The After 4pm Family Ticket was built around it. If you have been before and think you know what to expect, you do not know this version yet.
