Sunrise swims. Nordic roots. Cold water, warm crowd.
Straight out of Copenhagen and into the Coogee surf, Cold Dip Club is now dipping weekly in Sydney. This grassroots cold-water movement brings the best parts of Danish culture—discipline, community, and unapologetic ocean plunges—to the east coast.
Every Wednesday the crew gathers for a sunrise swim, followed by a $2 post-dip coffee at Bathers Coogee—the iconic beachfront restaurant and kiosk that’s teamed up with the club to fuel the ritual.
If you're into movement, connection, and cold water before caffeine, this is your kind of morning.

Who’s Behind It
Born in Copenhagen, Cold Dip Club is an international cold-water swim community now making waves in Sydney. The local chapter is led by Kash and Alayna, two ocean-lovers bringing the Nordic spirit south with a community-first mindset and Sydney’s sunrise coastline as their backdrop.
This isn’t just a swim group. It’s ritual, rhythm, and community—whether you come for the plunge, the people, or both.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join?
Easy — rock up with a towel, your swimmers, and a mug. That’s it. No signup, no secret handshake.
Where do we meet?
Wednesdays, 6:20am — Coogee Beach, south end.
Can anyone come?
If you can brave the water, you’re in. All ages, all backgrounds, all welcome.
What if it’s raining?
We still dip. Rain, hail, shine — excuses get left on the sand.
Can I get access to the dip photos?
Yep. They’re in the link in bio — proof you did it, or blackmail material for later.
What if I don’t have anyone to come with?
Come solo. The crew’s friendly and you’ll walk away with new mates (or at least someone to complain about the cold with).
I’m nervous about my first dip, any tips?
Everyone’s teeth are chattering — that’s the point. Just get in, get cold, and earn your $2 coffee and post-dip banter after.
What’s happening after August?
It’s a winter thing. Regular dips wrap up, but expect pop-ups and meet-ups until the next icy season rolls around.
