Pillar Performance City2Surf Recovery Party with runners in retro activewear, freshly baked pizza at the Running on Rage station, and post-run hydration from Pillar’s magnesium coolers outside Sandwich House, Bondi.

Bondi’s Big Recovery Bash – The PILLAR x Pace x 98 Street Party

This isn’t your average beachside Sunday booze-up. ‘The Recovery’ by PILLAR Performance is part street party, part elite athlete recharge zone — and fully loaded with magnesium spritz, collagen lattes, and DJ-driven dopamine. It’s free, it’s open to all, and it might just be the most functional fun you’ll have in a bib this year.

Timed to follow Sydney’s most iconic fun run — the City2Surf® event — this high-performance after-party brings together athletes, locals, and biohackers for a morning of muscle-mending and endorphin overload.

(Note: This event is independently hosted and not affiliated with the official City2Surf® event or World Triathlon Corporation.)

The event is brought to life by three performance-focused powerhouses:

PILLAR Performance

The supplement brand fuelling Australia’s endurance elite. With The Rocket — their mobile recovery van — they’re serving up micronutrient hits and magnesium spritz on demand. This is where PBs go to recover.

98 Gym

Founded by ex-special forces. Trained by elite athletes. Known for grit, sweat, and no-fluff programming, 98 Gym’s takeover brings real strength energy to the street.

Pace Athletic

Sydney’s cult running store. Their team actually races, and their post-run knowledge runs deep. Here, they’re turning performance into recovery — with zero marketing fluff and full community vibes.

The BioHax Take

This isn’t just another sweaty post-run scramble for a table. PILLAR’s transformed one of Bondi’s busiest corners into an open-air, recovery-first street rave with zero entry fee and maximum performance energy. Expect Olympic-grade guests, a recovery menu you’d normally pay $18 for, and a DJ bringing the beats while you down magnesium and pastry. Elite sport meets Bondi chaos — and somehow, it works.

The Athlete Hangout (Invite Only Lounge)

Step behind The Rocket and you’ll find Bondi’s most elite recovery zone — a VIP athlete lounge inside Will & Co, curated for pro runners, footy captains, and special guests. Think iced collagen, Olympic-grade endorphins, and more Strava stats than your phone can handle. Here’s who you’ll be mingling with:

Nedd Brockmann

The barefoot battler who ran across Australia — 3,953km in 46 days — and raised over $2 million for homelessness. A true national treasure with a mullet, grit, and a cult following.

Bree Masters (Rizzo)

Olympic sprinter and 100m phenom. Bree brings both speed and style to the track — and to Bondi. You’ll find her soaking up the post-race vibes looking like she just jogged out of a campaign shoot.
Instagram: @breeemasters

Brett Robinson

Aussie distance legend, Olympian, and sub-2:08 marathon machine. If your calves twitch every time someone mentions “tempo run,” it’s probably Brett’s fault.
Instagram: @brett_robinson23

Dane Rampe

Co-captain of the Sydney Swans. High-performance on the field, high-frequency off it. Expect strong leadership, strong banter, and probably some tagged Insta stories with a cold magnesium spritz.
Instagram: @_danerampe

Toby Greene

Captain of the GWS Giants and walking proof that elite footy form translates to good party form. If you see a crew laughing, dancing, and wearing sponsor sunnies, Toby’s probably at the centre of it.
