Shiralee specialises in the finest certified organic, biodynamic and free-range meats from Australia's best and most awarded producers.

They provide 100% traceability and are proudly chemical free.

Their aim is to educate the community and encourage everyone to ask questions about the source of their meat supply. More specifically, is it grass-fed? Is it grass-finished? Does your current supplier have the Certification documentation to prove what they’re saying?

Some so-called “organic” even “certified organic” suppliers (mainly the supermarkets) source their organic meat that may well be labelled “grass-fed,” but in the last few months of its life are forced to feed on nothing but grain. Their heads are locked into holding mechanisms, which are designed to increase their size to the perfect weight in order to meet packaging specifications.

This is not only grossly inhumane but would cause the animal incredible stress, inflammation, even disease in its last few months of life, not to mention being feed toxic grain, which we then eat as consumers.

Animals that are NOT treated in this way will include “grass-fed” and “grass-finished” on their packaging along with the ACO logo. They support farmers who care enough to take the time to implement humane procedures and pay the annual ACO certification costs to ensure quality meat is supplied.

Returns & Replacements

Product replacements are only valid where a package is damaged, incorrectly labelled or not fit for sale.

All items are to be photographed and your rep notified within 48hrs of receipt. The product is to be

collected by our delivery driver at next scheduled delivery.

 All products will be replaced like for like and credit / or charges apply for weight variations between original package and replacement. Replaced items will be noted on delivery dockets and invoices.

Reliable & Ethical Supply

Central to our values is a desire to provide an ethical, healthy and sustainable way of producing, farming and eating. Due to the nature of Organic production there are occasions such as drought where we are unable to source Certified Organic produce. In this case we ensure the livestock are raised in the most humane way in paddocks not feedlots, grown using regenerative practices on pastures where there are no chemicals used and never given hormones or unnecessary routine antibiotics.

We can provide details of the farmers we source our products from so you can check for yourself.

Order Notice Period

We’ve specified a 2 day notice period for ordering meat because we want it to be as fresh as possible for consumption.

For public holidays and special events such as Easter, Long Weekends, Winter in July, Christmas, New Year etc. we will need at least 2-3 weeks’ notice for large orders to secure your certified organic meat.

Shelf Life

Shelf life on all products is dependent on correct storage, refrigeration and care. It is the re-seller’s

responsibility to ensure that all products are always stored correctly and stored at or below 4 Deg Celsius. Upon receipt of the products the re seller must ensure that the order is immediately placed into the cool room or refrigerated shelf. Temperature at dispatch and delivery is recorded on the delivery docket and temperature maintenance of the products after delivery is the responsibility of the reseller.

Please refer to the list below as a guide for shelf life and best before dates of products. In all cases the best before date on each product label overrides and is the final determination for that product.

Beef and Lamb:
Fresh Cuts 14 – 21 days depending on the cut.
Mince 7-10 days Skin Pack Only

Fresh Cuts 10-14 Days depending on cuts
Mince: 7-10 days Skin Pack Only

Fresh Cuts 6-10 days depending on cuts
Mince: 5-7 days depending on packaging method


Generally, fresh meat should last up to 5 days in the fridge at 4 degrees Celcius and up to 6 months in the freezer.

If you're in the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney Delivery Zone - All products can be ordered and will be shipped via our BioHax Delivery service. Delivery 7 days from 8am-8pm.

Out of Sydney Delivery Zone, NSW & Australia

If you're out of the Sydney Delivery Zone - only non-perishables can be ordered and are shipped via Sendle for (Metro) and Australia Post (Regional)

Out of Sydney Delivery Zone - 3-5 Days

NSW & Australia - 3-7 Days

International Orders

Only non-perishables can be ordered and are shipped via (Australia Post)

International Delivery Times - 5-10 Days

Product Categories Explained:

Non-Perishables = essential oils, beauty and cooking oils, raw minerals and supplements

Dry goods = herbs, spices, coffee

Perishables = vegetables, herbs, fruit, eggs, F&G boxes, stock broth and liquid broth

Can I request to sign for my order?

Please advise if you would like to physically sign for your package and we will ensure the driver does not leave your order until it has been signed. This information is acquired during the checkout process, before payment, under “delivery instructions”.  We also ship to PO boxes by only if shipping is via Australia Post. If you would like to sign for your order and it’s being shipped via Australia Post, there is an additional $2 service fee.

Note: if you request for your order to be signed on delivery and no one is home to sign when the courier arrives, we are unable to take responsibility for any items that have spoiled as a result of being returned to our third-party transport company.

If it is perishable items (fresh produce & broth), we prefer not to leave it outside for more than an hour and recommend having someone home; friend, neighbour or family member to sign for it.
