When it comes to providing office snacks or even for business meetings, a fresh, organic fruit box is rapidly overtaking biscuits, cakes, chocolates and pastries in terms of popularity. Having a never-ending stack of fruit (as opposed to a pack of Tim-Tams) provides numerous advantages for your workplace. For starters, it’s a great way for businesses to promote long term wellness and healthy eating, but employees will also gain from a range of
short-term health benefits.
Below details the benefits to your staff and business:
Daily Dose of Vitamins & Minerals
Organic Fruit that is void of harmful chemicals and pesticides has a huge range of health benefits and comes loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that will fortify the immune system and help keep bodies strong and healthy.
Vitamin C, helps the immune system fight against seasonal flu’s and colds, is prevalent in most fruits, like potassium which helps maintain a healthy heart, fibre to encourage good digestion along with vitamins A, C and E to aid the production of white blood cells that help fight daily infections.
Consuming more fruit and vegetables all-year-round, especially in winter, will help keep your workplace healthy and productive.
Having Organic, Mycotoxin-Free Coffee in Your Workplace
Australia is a coffee loving nation with three in four adults (75%) drinking at least one cup per day, and 28% have more than three cups per day. But what most don’t realise is coffee can actually be good for you (provided you don’t have an existing disease, thyroid problem or adrenal fatigue) if its derived from the strict process of growing, testing post-harvest and manufacturing a product that is organic and mycotoxin-free.

Healthy Ways to Boost Energy Levels
Healthy ways to increase energy include natural sugar in fruit, which will keep you feeling energised throughout the day, so when brick wall comes around between 2-3pm (especially if you’ve had a big lunch full of gluten or processed foods), you won’t need to feel guilty about reaching for a snack.
Research has also shown organic fruit can help you stay mentally focused throughout the entire day.
Prevents us from snaking on refined sugar
Eating natural sugar (fructose) found in fruits, which are also high in digestive fibre such as apples, pears and berries are known for making us feel fuller, meaning we’re less likely to have hunger pains and reaching for the biscuit tin or lolly jar.
May Help Reduce the Risk of Cancer
No single produce item can prevent cancer cells mutating on their own, a well-balanced diet filled with organic fresh fruit and vegetables can boost the immune system to help fight cancer cells according to the Australian Cancer Council.
Fruits are also very rich in antioxidants and nutrients including beta-carotene (precursor of Vitamin A), Vitamin C, Vitamin E and selenium (an essential mineral consumed through a diet incorporating organic nuts, fruits and vegetables) to help our body’s cells function at optimal levels.
Wakes up the Digestive System
Light, healthy doses of berries or citrus fruit will gently wake up the digestive system and the metabolism, without wasting energy on digesting toxic processed foods and refined sugars.
* DISCLAIMER: All fruit gift boxes are seasonal and subject to stock availability. If you would like to substitute an item due to unforeseen circumstances, it’s absolutely no problem and BioHax guarantees that such substitution will be of the same value and quality.
