Organic coconut butter is a nutritious, melt-in-your-mouth spread made from 100% certified organic coconut flesh. Packed full of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) and dietary fibre, coconut butter is a popular staple for those on paleo, keto and vegan diets. Commonly used in baked goods and raw treats or simply eaten straight from the jar!

Note: Coconut oil may separate and create a layer on the top. Simply warm in a water bath and stir to blend back together.

How to Use

This preservative-free coconut butter is a yummy spread on its own or with classics like honey, dates, jam or smashed banana. Love it in wraps, on crackers or with crusty bread. Scoop nut butter up with celery, carrot and capsicum ‘sticks’ or seasonal fruit for a quick and easy snack.

Coconut butter is great in marinades and sauces, complimenting seafood, vegetables and meats – and can substitute for ground peanuts in satays and Gado Gado. Add to lentil burgers or enjoy with tempeh. For a taste sensation, combine a little nut butter with chilli, fresh coriander and your favourite salad vegetables in rice rolls.

Coconut butter is also a scrumptious addition to home-baked cookies, muffins and slices, or in raw food treats – great for energy balls, muesli bars and vegan chocolate.

If you can keep your spoon out of the jar, this versatile spread bursting with natural coconut flavour can be enjoyed on your toast, drizzled over granola, in baking, sauces like satay sauce, as a thickener to a curry, smoothie and even alcoholic drinks.

You can make your own coconut milk and cream by simply adding water.
For coconut cream, mix 2 parts coconut butter with 1 part water.
For coconut milk, mix 1 part coconut butter with 2 parts water.

Coconut butter is not cooking oil, so not suitable for high temp cooking like sautéing or frying.

Store coconut butter in an airtight jar at room temperature. It's shelf-stable and doesn't need to be stored in the fridge. Depending on the temperature of your house the coconut butter will likely harden up so you'll need to warm it up before using.
